Hi, this is Dani! Thanks for visiting this page, which means you may be interested in an item I have for sale. As always, if your question isn’t covered here, please feel free to ask:

Q: WHICH ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE / DO YOU DO CUSTOM WORK? 

A: All of my current available items for sale can be found by clicking on the Available Items tab on the main menu. They’re promptly removed and updated once sold so you won’t get attached to something that isn’t available. All items are sold just as they are with their vintage glory

Custom Work – Currently taking on custom work for buffets / sideboards, antique / large and french provincial dressers. Please e-mail me or message me on Facebook / Instagram to get a quote. No restoration work – painting only. Pricing starts at $389 – white/antique white/navy/black is an additional 30%, distressing adds another 30% to the price just to give you a ballpark cost.

Q: DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS? 

A: CUSTOMER LOYALTY PROGRAM – If you’ve ever purchased from me or had custom work done with me in the past, you’re eligible for a 10% VIP discount on any of my current available items.

MULTI-ITEM DISCOUNT – If you’re interested in more than one item, I offer a 10% discount for bundling items (please note that the VIP discount and multi-item discount can’t be combined).

Aside from these discounts, all prices are firm unless stated by me.

DELIVERY

We can deliver all items to the Saskatoon area for a $50 fee. Delivery to front entrance in the home or lobby in apartment/condo buildings ONLY.

If needing delivery to locations further out of the Saskatoon area and in Saskatchewan/Alberta, I charge $30/hr + estimated gas costs for the round trip for me to personally deliver. This is the most cost effective method to ship items out for you. Since it’ll likely be just me delivering the item to further away places, I will require help to unload it once I arrive. If there’s a lot of stairs or it’s an apartment building, I won’t be able to help with carrying. Please make sure to have two strong people there and ready to lift it into your space.

Shipping by delivery/moving truck can also be scheduled as well but will be more expensive. To guesstimate, it would be roughly $500 per furniture item in provinces close to Saskatchewan. Please contact me to get a quote.

Q: WHAT PAYMENT TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT / CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?

Accepted payment methods: E-Transfer and Credit Card to claim online and mark it sold. My items are located at Frisk Market in Saskatoon (unless otherwise stated in my available items ads) and can be sold at the store first unless I notify them it’s been sold online where they will then put a sold sign on the item. Cash is also accepted there.

Without the payment, the item belongs to DVD and is available.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND SOLD *AS IS* – NO RETURNS

Q: I’VE PURCHASED AN ITEM ONLINE, WHEN DO I HAVE TO COME AND GET IT BY?

A: Please note that all furniture purchases must be picked up within 7 days of the date purchased from Frisk Market or wherever we have discussed pickup will be.

Q: I WANT TO PURCHASE SOMETHING, BUT DON’T HAVE THE MONEY AT THE MOMENT. CAN YOU HOLD AN ITEM FOR ME UNTIL I CAN PAY FOR IT?

A: I’m sorry, I’m afraid not. Most of my items sell online sight unseen and then an appointment made to pick up the item. Holding the item up for a “maybe” sale means the person who actually wants it and is willing to pay for it will miss out. Also to note, making an appointment to view an item first doesn’t mean it will be held for your appointment time and can be sold without warning. If that happens I will let you know it’s been sold and cancel our appointment.

Q: I LIKE AN ITEM BUT WANT TO SWITCH THE COLOR, CAN I DO THAT?

A: I’m sorry, paint color isn’t changeable on any of my finished items for sale. I’ve put lots of thought, hard work and products into my items and love them just the way they are. Someone else will too and I’ve been known to have the patience of a saint!

Q: HOW CAN MY FURNITURE STAY SAFE FOR THE RIDE HOME / DO YOU BUNDLE AND WRAP YOUR ITEMS FOR MY TRIP HOME?

A: Please make sure to come in an emptied out, large enough enclosed SUV, van or truck and bring lots of thick blankets to wrap around your item to avoid any friction or knocking. If needing to put it in an open truck box, make sure to bring a tarp and a lot of thick blankets to cover and protect from ratchet straps and the outdoor environment for the way home.

A: Bubble wrapping your item is an option for your furniture pickup! It’ll be done the previous day to your arrival which means you won’t be able to see the item in person first before taking it home. Bubble wrapping/stretch wrapping your piece is an additional $75. It offers light protection from friction of ratchet straps and the outside elements. It’ll give you peace of mind for moving your furniture through tight spaces or apartment stairs.

Q: ARE YOUR ITEMS DURABLE / HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF MY ITEM SO IT LOOKS AS GOOD AS IT DOES NOW?

A: Since your item has been painted or stained with a liquid coating which sits on top of the wood, no matter how durable the paint/sealant is or the prep done to the piece, the item should always be handled with care and should be considered fragile. I use the most durable products possible, but I still expect the customer to acknowledge that painted items are not bulletproof and damage can happen if not careful. Your piece will remain beautiful as long as you’re gentle with it. Although my items are a final sale, I do provide you with a full listing of the products used as well as touch up products to take home if anything gets damaged.

If ever wanting to use an item as a bathroom vanity or use it as an ultra-high traffic piece, I suggest getting a piece of glass cut. I can provide you the business name and phone number of the place in Saskatoon that I go to. It’s affordable and they do great work!
